Patience is a Virtue

Recently, I went to Animania, an ani-con held in Sydney, Australia twice a year. While there, I purchased a few models to build, as a way to pass the time. This week, I finally got around to completing them. I'm a procrastinator, so, it takes me awhile to do things, heh. It was an enjoyable experience, to sit down and build something, and now I have the proof of my work scattered about my room. It's odd, though. I've never had the patience to sit down and do something like this before. Maybe I'm growing up...... Anyways, I'll leave with a pic of what one of my models looks like, more to come later.....

Autumn is here

And so with a fond farewell, I bid my most despised season, Summer, goodbye. Enter Autumn, which unfortunately, is still fairly hot and humid. Hopefully, it'll cool down by the end of the month, i'm sick of hot weather.

Having to work outdoors for a living, it slowly kills you. Day by day, the intolerable heat grinds you down. I have friends who say: "Oh, but it's nice and warm outside!". Oh yeah? Go and do some tough physical labour in it, day after day, and see how you feel then....

And as a gesture to your local postman, if you see him struggling in the heat, take em out a cold drink, they don't forget who shows kindness, I assure you.

Stay frosty, kids

Neighbours

Well, today I'll be discussing neighbours, and how people should co-exist with one another. Let me give you a bit of back story.

I live with complete and utter jackasses for neighbours, for the most part, whose normal voice volume would be a normal persons shouting voice. They all drive cars with loud exhausts, and think it's the height of entertainment to sit in their front yard, revving their engines at 6 in the morning. To top that off, around the corner from my street, there are the idiot wanna be bikers, who think they are tough by riding their "Hogs" up and down the road.

So, I ask you, is it so much to ask for a little peace and quiet? I mean, seriously, do these people ever stop and think: "Hmmmm, there are other people living next to me, maybe I should be a little quieter?". The answer is no. I try to be quiet, I realise there are other people nearby, so I don't scream, I don't make unneccesary noise, and I don't have a yappy dog in the back yard. If all people acted like this, and just showed a bit of common courtesy, we would all get along better.........
