Ok, time for another review! Today, I'll tell you about Eureka seveN, a mecha anime. The story centers around two young people, Renton Thurston, a 15 year old boy, and Eureka, a girl of unknown origins. Set on a planet that is somewhat similar to Earth, this planet is under attack by a mysterious race called "Coralians". The stroy starts with Renton, who lives in a sleepy town call Bell Forest, his life is changed when the is an aeriel fight over Bell Forest, between Gekkostate, which is a rebel group, and the Military. Both sides use LFO's which a mechs which use devices called "Lift-boards", which are similar to surfboards to harness the energy of the planet, called "Trapars" to fly through the air. Eureka is shot down, and crashes her LFO into Renton's house, and his Grandfathers Mech mechanic garage, destroying them. Renton falls in love with her on first sight, and is compelled to follow after her, and soon after joinjs Gekkostate, which Eureka is a part of, to fight against the military.
Anyways, without spoiling the storyline too much, I'll say that this is one of the best anime I have ever seen, the only downside being that the story feels a little rushed at the end, because they cram a lot of important plot points into the last few episodes. It also has a really superb soundtrack, here's a link to my favourite track, "Get it by your Hands".

So, in closing, I give this anime a 9 out of 10, not a perfect because of the rush at the end. Also, there is a movie as well, it's called Eureka seveN: A Pocketful of Rainbows. It has the same characters as the series, but it's a completely different storyline. Maybe I'll do a review on it some day, I thought it was alright.
